In the near future, there will be a new rear camera that can be used simultaneously with the RTC300 Telephoto, which will then occupy the interior camera port. A wide-angle lens offers a larger field of view; for example, the front camera of the A229 PRO has a 140-degree viewing angle. In contrast, a telephoto lens offers a narrower field of view; the RTC300 telephoto camera, for instance, has a 30-degree viewing angle. The RTC300 telephoto camera is compatible with the VIOFO A229 Pro and A229 Plus series. If you own an A229 Plus/A229 Pro 2CH or 3CH dashcam, using a telephoto lens will occupy the rear Type-C port of the front main camera.
